Mobac –Wire end during rewinding operations with 3D sensor detection

Mobac GmbH is a specialist for wire and cable pay-off equipment. True to the guiding principle of leading wire and cable manufacturers "If you want to produce wires and cables, you have to be able to brake", their equipment pays special attention to the perfect braking point. This is because the wire fixed to the spool body would inevitably destroy the rewinding mechanism and the spools if the unwinding process, which takes place at high speed, were not stopped in good time before reaching the end of the wire. For this purpose Mobac uses a camera sensor from ifm. This reliably detects the last position on the coil body and initiates the braking process in good time.
