Mobac GmbH is a specialist for wire and cable pay-off equipment. True to the guiding principle of leading wire and cable manufacturers "If you want to produce wires and cables, you have to be able to brake", their equipment pays special attention to the perfect braking point. This is because the wire fixed to the spool body would inevitably destroy the rewinding mechanism and the spools if the unwinding process, which takes place at high speed, were not stopped in good time before reaching the end of the wire. For this purpose Mobac uses a camera sensor from ifm. This reliably detects the last position on the coil body and initiates the braking process in good time.

Die Mobac GmbH ist Spezialist für Draht- und Kabel-Ablaufgeräte. Getreu dem Leitsatz von führenden Draht- und Kabelherstellern "Wer Drähte und Kabel herstellen will, muss bremsen können", liegt bei ihren Anlagen ein besonderes Augenmerk auf dem perfekten Bremspunkt. Denn der am Spulenkörper fixierte Draht würde die Umwickelmechanik und die Spulen unweigerlich zerstören, würde der mit hoher Geschwindigkeit ablaufende Abwickelvorgang nicht rechtzeitig vor dem Erreichen des Draht-Endes gestoppt werden. Hierfür setzt Mobac einen Kamerasensor von ifm ein. Dieser erkennt zuverlässig die letzte Lage auf dem Spulenkörper und leitet rechtzeitig den Bremsvorgang ein.
